BocaHouse Studios
We built our modular prefabricated home in 2015 and strive to live a sustainable life. Built two hours north of Seattle, it is a new breed of home for the future. With a Workshop and an Art Studio included, it is a font of creativity.
Diane Ekker is an artist working in mixed media, with a fourty-year history of art, graphic design, physical training and general badassery.
Leslie Ekker is a 40-year veteran of Hollywood Special and Visual Effects. An Oscar looser, a BAFTA winner, he worked as a Modelmaker building miniatures, special props and engineering projects for 25 years. After supervising the models on the film Titanic, he began directing teams of digital artists at the cutting edge of innovation. A Designer, a Master Craftsman, a Director, a Musician, an Artist and an Adventurer, his workshop is also his art gallery. He is a mentor to young film makers, and a Docent at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
